Proudly Serving the Communities of Mohave County.
Located in northwestern Arizona, Mohave County is one of the largest counties in the United States by area. Home to the communities of Kingman, Lake Havasu City, Bullhead City, and numerous rural districts, the county features a diverse landscape that includes desert terrain, mountain ranges, the Colorado River, and portions of the Grand Canyon.
The county's unique geography presents a variety of public safety challenges, including wildland fire risks, transportation incidents, water rescue operations, severe weather events, and emergency response across vast distances. These challenges make regional cooperation among fire departments and emergency services essential to protecting residents and visitors alike.
